Building on this excitement, the trailer for the film, directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru, was officially launched at a grand event in Mumbai. Divya Khosla Kumar broke down while speaking how this film marks her acting comeback and revealed that the character written was literally her. Speaking at the trailer launch she said, 'Its been a year and a half journey so far and today i am feeling so emotional, this film is extremely important for me because the role directors have written for me replicates my real-self quite well.' She was tears while talking about her journey in the film industry. Yaariyan 2 will hit theatres on October 20, 2023, The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Divya Khosla Kumar and Aayush Maheshwari and is helmed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru.
